Security
This page gives a high-level overview of how DAFK approaches security and sensitive data handling for DAFK AI Translator.
Last Updated: April 8, 2026
1. Product Security Approach
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information handled by the service.
Security is part of the product design process, especially for live audio handling, temporary voice data, and account management.
2. Voice and Audio Handling
Live audio is processed on DAFK servers using DAFK AI models.
Reference voice is primarily stored locally on the user’s device. If a live session requires temporary server-side handling, a temporary session copy may be used and is deleted when the session ends.
Live transcripts are streamed for the session experience and are not stored as part of the normal service flow.
3. Account Controls
Users can initiate account deletion from within the app.
Users can also replace or remove their saved reference voice from within the app, since the primary saved reference is stored locally on the device.
4. Meeting and Browser Capture
If a user selects a browser as the capture source, the capture may include audio from the whole browser application, including other tabs or media.
Users are responsible for giving notice or obtaining consent where required by law when using meeting or browser capture features.
5. Reporting Security Concerns
We review incoming security reports manually. If you identify a potential issue, contact support@dafk.ai.
We recommend including the affected product area, reproduction steps, impact, and any relevant proof so we can evaluate the issue quickly.
